As an Automobile Technician, you will be responsible for conducting
inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs while following
industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE:
Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various vehicles
systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
Conduct inspections to identify mechanical and technical issues and
recommend appropriate solutions.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to assess and repair vehicle
malfunctions.
Ensure all repairs and services comply with manufacturer specifications
and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Collaborate with service advisors and customers to explain repair needs
and recommendations.
Follow workshop safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work
environment.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and industry best
practices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
Certification or diploma in Automotive Technology, Mechanical
Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an automobile technician, mechanic, or service
technician.
Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and
maintenance techniques.
Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and modern automotive
systems.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
