Job Title: Auto Electrician

Job Overview: We’re looking for a skilled and experienced auto electrician who can handle all car diagnostics, including both electrical and mechanical issues, without relying on others in the garage. You must be able to quickly identify issues, fix electrical problems, and save the team time by working independently. If you are a highly skilled problem solver with a passion for cars and expertise in auto electrical systems, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform complete diagnostics of a vehicle’s electrical and mechanical systems using computer or tablet tools, identifying issues without relying on other garage workers.
• Work independently to troubleshoot and fix all electrical problems, while diagnosing mechanical issues for the mechanics to repair.
• Diagnose and repair A/C systems, including tasks such as opening the dashboard or other parts of the car to access the problem.
• Use garage tools and diagnostic tablets to run tests and ensure all systems—both electrical and mechanical—are working properly.
• Fix electrical issues related to wiring, battery, alternator, and ignition systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, and hand over the findings to mechanics for repair.
• Install and repair electronic components such as lights, sensors, alarms, and sound systems.
• Check and repair vehicle lighting systems, from headlights to interior lights.
• Inspect and repair alternators, starters, and other electrical components to ensure they are working as expected.
• Ensure all electrical diagnostics and repairs are completed efficiently to avoid unnecessary delays in the garage.
• Collaborate with mechanics, providing them with detailed diagnostics of mechanical issues to ensure smooth repairs.
• Keep workstations clean and organized and ensure all tools are maintained properly.
