Job Description

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead a group of multiple processes, supporting customer fulfilment for trade finance activities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, including letter of credits, LC confirmations, document scrutiny, payments, discounting and trade finance related process. Effective Problem-Solving capabilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of Trade Finance operations and products
  • Monitor key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Suggest and implement necessary changes
  • Develop cross skilling, to foster an environment of adaptability and continuous learning. Ensure proactive steps are taken to reallocate resources, ensuring stability and consistent service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant banking laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Manage the various operational risks within laid down procedures. identify potential risks areas and implement the proposed solutions
  • Functions within the framework and boundaries of the Banks policies
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to make strategic decisions impacting the organization's financial well-being
  • Oversee daily operations related to customer service and fulfillment
  • Develop and implement service quality standards and performance metrics
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory standards
  • Address escalated customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction.

 What You Should Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degrees are preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in back-office processes within the banking industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years in leadership capacity
