Job Description:-
This position is responsible for:-
Timely & accurate deposits and Reporting of US Federal/State/Local/County; Unemployment & back up withholding taxes; providing customer service on Payroll tax issues to business and employees; performing Tax research, registration and correspondence; assisting with State registrations and Multi-State reporting; providing support for tax audits; performing system testing of new authorities, tax types, pay elements, Tax rules & rate changes; driving process improvements and automation; handling special projects as assigned.
Required qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or business equivalent Knowledge of US Federal, state, local payroll tax regulations Knowledge of payroll information systems, business application systems and personal computer skills is required. Experience in Workday is preferred. Good communication skills and at least 2 years experience of working within a payroll or tax environment. High level of energy, self-direction, motivation, follow-through and issue ownership Advanced skills in Word, Excel and other database applications Ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment Strong analytical and problem solving and continuous process improvement skills
Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays
