Job Description:-


This position is responsible for:-


  • Timely & accurate deposits and Reporting of US Federal/State/Local/County; Unemployment & back up withholding taxes;
  • providing customer service on Payroll tax issues to business and employees;
  • performing Tax research, registration and correspondence;
  • assisting with State registrations and Multi-State reporting;
  • providing support for tax audits;
  • performing system testing of new authorities, tax types, pay elements, Tax rules & rate changes;
  • driving process improvements and automation;
  • handling special projects as assigned.

Required qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or business equivalent
  • Knowledge of US Federal, state, local payroll tax regulations
  • Knowledge of payroll information systems, business application systems and personal computer skills is required. Experience in Workday is preferred.
  • Good communication skills and at least 2 years experience of working within a payroll or tax environment.
  • High level of energy, self-direction, motivation, follow-through and issue ownership
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel and other database applications
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving and continuous process improvement skills
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays
