Job Description
Manage external tender portals:
- Manage sales and information requests from clients coming in through emails, websites and tender portals
- Regularly monitor external tender portals and update registrations
- Sourcing of new business opportunities on tender portals
- Creation of new business opportunities in the CRM system to ensure compliance
- Allocation of opportunities and transmission of client communications to relevant teams within agreed timeframes
- Regular follow-up on requests
- Provide end-users with data and reports from CRM and standard company information
- Ensure that bids are submitted on time and are as complete and accurate as possible
- Present reports to management as required
Sales and business development process administration and end-user support
- Schedule internal sales planning meetings as and when required
- Ensure teams provide required process inputs in a timely manner
- Follow-up on the status of opportunities
Education requirements:
- Qualified to bachelor’s degree level – ideally a business, informatics or computer science degree
Work experience requirements:
- 1-2 years post-qualification experience – ideally gained in a large corporate background
- Experience with tender portals and processes and CRM would be highly beneficial
