We are currently seeking an ambitious UAE National to join our Corporate and Institutional (CIB) Islamic Finance Team in Dubai, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets. The role holder will be integrally involved in a broad range of activities, working with MENAT stakeholders to proactively advance the Islamic finance business, agenda and governance in MENAT.In this role, you will:• Provide support to the MENAT Head of Islamic finance in the implementation & execution of strategy for the business for the CIB business line.• Support and implement specific strategic projects for the business.• Support the business management of the business, with a focus data & analytics to review & optimize revenues and facilitate business reviews and management decisions• Assist with the governance of the business and drafting of papers to Excos and RMMs on a regular basis.• Provide support to business teams in the execution of Islamic finance transactions & work with 2LoD and operations to ensure the successful execution of Islamic finance transactions. • Work in close partnership with Islamic finance business teams, Shariah Control team, finance, legal and operations teams to drive the MENAT Islamic finance agenda & strategy• Assist with securing approvals around new product launches• Provide regular business updates on performance of the business• Respond to Ad hoc requests in an independent manner, working directly with the Islamic finance team across HBME UAE• Supporting collaboration efforts across all the different lines of business, as well as key functional partners across the 2nd LoD• Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure individual conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
