Job Description

NOTAM Function


  • Preparing NOTAM when requested in accordance with ICAO regulations
  • Provide support for the efficient running of 24-hour NOTAM office
  • Prepare and distribute NOTAM summary

NOTAM Database and Records


  • Maintain and update the NOTAM database 
  • Maintain the records of NOTAM requests and published NOTAMs

AIS Quality and Audit


  • Record queries related to NOTAM and maintained all related statistics
  • Initiate, investigate and clarify queries received
  • Participate as a member of AIS Safety Committee

Procedure’s documentation


  • Update the LAISI with the latest and correct procedures

Reporting


  • Ensure that all functional reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet GCAA requirements and quality standards.

Health, Safety and Environment within GCAA 


  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude as per IMS available standards

Other Tasks/ Accountability


  • Perform additional tasks relevant to the role / area of expertise as requested by the management to be able to achieve the objectives/commitments.

Knowledge and Experiences:


Minimum High School degree or equivalent from a recognized institution with no previous experience
