About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an Associate – Accounts Receivable (Collections) to join Dubai Holding Group Services. Responsibilities of this role:
Job Purpose: To provide full range of support and coordination services to the Collections team. This role is instrumental to the smooth running of the section and ensuring the whole team is able to respond in a timely and effective manner to all work requests.
- Provide general support and administration functions for the Collections team
- Maintain the Collections share folders, client files and database – filing, archiving, new report notifications
- Liaising with other departments on administrative issues to ensure smooth running of the department. Calendar tracking and coordination of Collections staff
- Support production of correspondence and documents, and maintain file notes, spreadsheets and reports;
- Liaising with members of staff in other departments and external contacts as required. Organizing and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information.
- To provide administrative support for centralized coordination of master schedules and calendar across all projects to ensure cascading of information and keep team members informed of key dates
- Organize & schedule meeting requests and room
This role is crucial to assist the support and delivery of the collection’s key performance indicators
- Role will be responsible for coordinating measurements such as include delivery times on completion of activity from request to fulfilment bookings.
- Record and distribute of minutes of meetings as required.
- Maintaining database of teams core tasks
- Maintaining computer records and other more general office duties
Coordination with Internal and External Teams
- Customer Service – Coordinating with them with regards to customer needs affecting collection performance such as query on completion date, payment schedule, etc.
- Consolidation Back Office – coordinating with them on various payment options like swaps, credit notes, consolidation, etc
- IT – coordinating with them on the various collection reports ensuring accurate provision/communication with these reports to the customers
- Title Deed Registration – providing clearances to all TD applications ensuring that customers have fully paid the property price
- Handover – providing clearances for key handover ensuring that customer has fully paid on the property value before handing over the apartment
- Termination – coordinating with them on properties that are qualified for termination as per SPA contract making these properties available in the inventory
- Legal – coordinating with them on properties that are already exhausted on all collection means and that it has to be elevated for court case filing
- Cashiers – coordinating with them on check clearances and posting of payments
- Finance – coordinating with them in bringing the financial statements up-to-date (orderliness of FS)
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Minimum Experience: 3 years in Real Estate Collections, specifically within Dubai.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Law.
- Should have exposure to RERA rules and regulations related to collections.
- Must possess knowledge of legal collection procedures, including providing supporting documents to legal teams for case-building.
- Proficient in all office software e.g. Word, Excel
- A team player who is a self-starter
- Willingness to learn & Overriding desire to support team members
- Should have previous experience in a business administration or coordination role. They should be able to demonstrate that they are conversant with relevant software tools to support their role.
- Should be highly motivated and constantly seek new ways to address the challenges presented to them. Coordination skills and organisational ability are paramount
