Job Overview:
Here's your chance to step into the role of Assistant Visual Merchandiser at Motion Gate Operations, part of Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

To assist in the execution of all Visual Merchandise projects within retail stores, carts and show windows in the theme park, both in Product Merchandising and Visual Display. Assisting Visual Merchandiser in Budgeting and maintaining visual merchandising expense and cost;

Project Delivery

• Execution of all Visual Merchandise projects including product launch and store display
• Conceptualize and implement window dressings and presentation of store displays to help stimulate guest sales activity
• Implementation of floor sets, merchandise flows, and product placement within each retail store
• Assist Visual merchandiser in preparing store bubble plans and SKU to fixture plan
• Coordinating for ordering and tracking of all visual merchandise collaterals
• Maintain good store Visual Merchandising standards and providing training to store team
• Monitor product sales performance and make changes to store displays if necessary
• Assist Visual Merchandiser, ensuring that all Visual Merchandising visuals are approved by respective IPs before implementation

Governance & Oversight

• Ensure that Visual Merchandising Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are adhered
• Ensures that Environmental, Health and Safety requirements are adhered
• Learn, practice, and adhere to all related safety procedures related to job and work area
• Follow or establish safety procedures or avoiding working alone wherever possible. Hence, if inevitable, advise the Line Manager and know the alternative means to contact in case of emergency.
• Adhere to fire safety and emergency evacuation procedures, including assisting the guests when evacuating. By exercising the “duty of care”. As moral and legal obligation to protect the guests, staffs, contractors, vendors, suppliers, third party partners and all other persons within our care from harm or loss when they are exposed to our activities and using our services, with watchfulness, attention, caution, and prudence that a reasonable person in all circumstances would.
• Contribute to a healthy, illness-free work place by observing proper personal hygiene, high standard of cleanliness and observing consistent housekeeping like frequent hand washing to reduce the risk of common infections and cross contaminations.
• Assist Visual Merchandiser, ensuring that all Visual Merchandising visuals are approved by respective IPs before implementation.
• Follow the use of equipment, machines, and tools safely; keeping all work areas clear of clutter
• Ensure that fire exits are not blocked, and fire extinguishers are monitored and updated
• Know how to report a hazard and a near miss to the Line Manager
• Follow strictly the rules and regulations set by the company to protect lives and welfare of persons involved in business processes including the protection of property and environment from damages and other form of losses.

Transformation Programs

• Keep up with new visual merchandising trends and standards in the industry
• Ensure that productivity and service delivery of the department is improved on a continuous basis by keeping team members motivated and retained
• Contribute to a healthy, illness-free workplace by observing proper personal hygiene and cleanliness
• Ensure a complete first aid kit is within easy access and advise Line Manager if it needs further items
• Commit to safe systems of work by adhering to agreed processes that are put in place, which can include, but not limited to those in the approved manuals, policies, procedures and SOP’s and thus it shall be everyone’s responsibility to know and understand thoroughly these systems and processes, execute properly an avoid short cut.
• Provide, as far as reasonably practicable, the highest level of protection against harm or loss from hazards and risks to health, safety, and welfare of oneself and others
• Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Visual Merchandiser and Management Team

About you:
The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• 3 years visual merchandising experience in Retail Environment
• Hands on experience in store setup and window displays 
• High School Certification
