About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager - Marketing to join the team in Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for supporting the Senior Directors of Corporate Hotel & F&B Marketing in implementing and managing comprehensive and integrated marketing and communication strategies for the Brand, ensuring alignment with the luxury positioning and global identity of Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts and achievement of commercial targets. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Provide support to the Senior Directors of Corporate Hotel & F&B Marketing on the implementation of marketing strategies and initiatives and day-to-day marketing operations.
- Act as a brand steward, ensuring all internal and third-party marketing and communications efforts align with the brand strategy and support the overall business objectives.
- Develop brand, commercial and operational assets and collateral and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
- Support the Senior Directors of Corporate Hotel & F&B Marketing in creating and managing engaging and differentiating content for multiple products (e.g., rooms, F&B, spa, C&I etc.) across multiple platforms, adhering to Jumeirah's Visual Style Guidelines and approval processes.
- Provide planning and operational support for photo and video shoots, ensuring that operational processes and visual style guidelines are always adhered to.
- Copywriting, design, editing and production of flyers, posters, direct mailers, and online materials such as brochures, presentations, emails, infographics, videos, and newsletters.
- Maintain the hotel’s image library – ensure that all assets are recent and aligned with brand standards.
- Support the Senior Directors of Corporate Hotel & F&B Marketing in activating strategic luxury partnerships, and collaborations to support the achievement of brand positioning and commercial goals.
- Support the Senior Directors of Corporate Hotel & F&B Marketing in delivering and optimizing tactical D2C campaigns across multiple channels, including OTA’s. Ensure alignment with Jumeirah brand standards.
- Manage the content on the website and mobile app ensuring alignment with the Jumeirah brand and content standards, as well as focus on improving direct conversion rates for tactical initiatives.
- Support the Senior Directors of Corporate Hotel & F&B Marketing in the development and distribution of post-campaign reports.
- Support the Senior Directors of Corporate Hotel & F&B Marketing in implementing Trade Marketing campaigns that align with brand standards and commercial KPI’s.
- Provide marketing support as needed for Global Sales marketing initiatives, development of Sales collateral.
- Raise purchase requests and invoices for supplier payments.
- Liaise with Finance, ensuring timely payment of suppliers.
- Support the Senior Directors of Corporate Hotel & F&B Marketing in developing weekly and quarterly projects status updates.
- Schedule and attend regular meetings with key Stakeholders.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- UAE National with a Family Book as per government requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
- Minimum of 3 years of Marketing experience, gained within a leading global luxury hospitality or recognised global luxury brand Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.
- Proven experience in managing integrated marketing and communications plans and budgets.
- Demonstrated experience in executing integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in executing photo and video shoots.
- Demonstrated experience in developing marketing, sales and operational collaterals and materials.
