About the Job: 


An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager - Finance to join Finance in Wild Wadi Waterpark. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: 


  1. Analysing monthly Profit & Loss Statement.
  2. To ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly and does not have any unauthorised postings.
  3. Assisting Director of Finance in preparing the monthly Forecast, Balance Sheet and other monthly reports.
  4. To post all the journals required to allocate the expenses to correct cost centres as part of month end process for SBU Level.
  5. Assisting to Analyst for Regional review presentation.
  6. Prepare and update the results (quarterly basis) for the Finance Key Indicator Performance.
  7. Update the monthly actual figures in Hyperion and Financial Management System.
  8. Review and consolidated the results for the colleagues quarterly bonus, and service charges.
  9. Maintain and update trackers (contracts, insurance, accruals, CAPEX) where and when required.
  10. Time to time giving training to coordinators based on situation/requirements for P&L and ledger review.

About you: 


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: 


  1. Degree in Hotel Management, Accounting Degree or CIMA or Business Degree (Preferred).
  2. Preferably Commerce Graduate
  3. Minimum of 2 years of previous accounting experience
  4. Ability to forecast Business Performance
  5. Good analytical skills
  6. Advanced Excel Skills, Well Versed with Oracle, Hyperion, PMS & POS Systems will be advantage
