About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant Manager to join Jumeirah Wild Wadi. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: To schedule & perform the departmental works in efficient manner in-order to complete the functional objectives. Overseeing and supervising Income Audit, Stores and Receiving, Cost Control, Cash Office functions etc located within the premises to support Coordinating and co-operating with Group Services to make sure the services as per the SLA has been delivered. To schedule & organize monthly training for all Colleagues in-order to make them aware about the respective group policies. To support in monitoring & evaluating all the tasks carried out by the Finance team (including General Cashiers and Stores Receiving) in-order to have accuracy in the Financial Reports. To prepare required Journal vouchers for income & expenses and post these to the Oracle ERP System in-order to make monthly Profit & Loss Statements. To forward the Detail General Ledger and P&L to the all-Department Heads before month end and after the month end in-order to find out & analyze the variances with Director of Finance. Reviewing P&L prior and post finalizing. If any errors or issues, highlight to DOF and advise for the correction JV’s. To prepare all month end reports & Financial Statements in-order to distribute to the Management before deadline. To ensure complete and accurate system integrations and complete review of Balance sheet reconciliation on a monthly basis Support in preparation of the monthly Business Review slides along with detailed financial analysis. Support in finalizing the budget with respective HODs and preparation of the Budget Review slides To supervise Finance colleagues within the department in-order to ensure the standard operation procedures are followed. To ensure a courteous atmosphere and an open door policy for the colleagues in-order to establish rapport with colleagues and motivate them for over all improvement. To prepare yearly Budget from Revenue to Net profit based on the guidelines received from Corporate Office and the meetings conducted with variance departments. Submitting budget data’s in Hyperion Planning Preparing monthly Forecast and submit into Hyperion Planning Coordinating with departments for various operational needs Meeting and preparing direct report requests from DOF Preparing the adhoc reports request from GM,Corporate, Dubai Holding etc… Passing required JV’s during the month ends to ensure accuracy of the books Prepare balancesheet review with DOF Dealing with escalation on Supplier payments Dealing with AR related payment receipt issues based on esclation Co-ordinating with Bank and Network international when required Circulation of Financial information for weekly revenue meeting with GM,Sales and Marketing and Revenue Team Attending Departmental meetings Reviewing the colleague clearance letter requests Dealing with Third party partners contract and renewal as required Dealing with Legal for any contract or other legal matters and seek advice.About you: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Minimum five years experience in relevant industry or Financial Institutions as Assistant Finance Manager or Financial Accountant in the Middle East. Should be experienced for Financial Projection & Analysis including Forecasting & Budgeting.
