Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a globally recognized logistics services company. Our client is looking for an Assistant Manager - Commercial who will be responsible for identifying and optimizing business development opportunities across the Middle East and GCC region. This role involves conducting thorough market research and analysis, as well as developing strategic business plans with associated costs and forecasted revenue. The Assistant Manager - Commercial will support the company’s global portfolio through strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and develop new business opportunities in the logistics and port services industry.
- Oversee and utilize market research and analysis to inform business decisions.
- Develop comprehensive business plans and recommendations, detailing costs and revenue forecasts for the company's global portfolio.
- Present findings, reports, and recommendations to Senior Management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the execution of sales strategies.
- Maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
- Ensure logistics operations and support functions are fully aligned with business goals.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of UAE experience in the Logistics, Freight, Shipping, or related industries.
- Strong ability to present findings and recommendations to Senior Management via reports and presentations.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics operations, support functions, and information systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills with a decisive and detail-oriented approach.
- Valid UAE driver's license.
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Willingness to work in both office and outdoor environments.
