Abu Dhabi School of Management is hiring an Assistant Librarian to support our academic community. The librarian's overall responsibilities include assisting in the management of library resources, support for faculty and students with research needs, assisting with the development of library programs, and helping to maintaining the library catalogue. d
Responsibilities

Assist students, faculty, and staff with research and information retrieval

Assist with the development and management of library programs

Assist with maintaining the library catalogue and an accurate records of library holdings

Work with faculty to generate ideas for the enhancement of library services and resources

Assist the Librarian with the management and organization of library resources, including books, journals, and digital materials.
Skills
-
• Bachelor's/ master's degree in library science/librarianship or equivalent
-
• Preferably, experience in managing libraries in academic institutions

• Ability to use library management systems and digital resources

• English Language proficiency

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Commitment to providing high-quality service to library users
