We are currently seeking an organized, dynamic, and driven Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team and help maintain the impeccable cleanliness and ambiance of our luxury residences.
As the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that the housekeeping department runs smoothly and efficiently. You will assist in supervising the housekeeping team, managing inventory, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and providing excellent service to our residents.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly do:
Assist the Operations Director in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the residences, common areas, and public spaces. Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure they meet or exceed company standards. Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Coordinate and schedule housekeeping staff shifts and duties. Monitor and control the department’s budget and inventory, ensuring proper stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment. Handle guest complaints and requests in a professional, courteous manner, ensuring prompt resolution. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist with recruitment, performance appraisals, and staff development. Collaborate with other departments to maintain high standards of service across the property.
What we need from you:
Previous experience in housekeeping or facilities management, preferably in a luxury hotel or residence. At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a housekeeping environment. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to cleanliness and quality.
