Job Description
Assist in managing the housekeeping department’s operations and distributes assignments accordingly ensuring that the service standards are being followed.
Liaise with the Front Office team regarding the requests of the guests
Coordinate with Purchasing department regarding supplies requisition and other requirements from vendors to ensure the smooth workflow of the department.
Ensures the manning is updated and reasonable staffing are on board, develops training plans to ensure standards are maintained, processes requirements for hiring, internal promotions and disciplinary action when required.
Qualifications
Service focused personality is essential
Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for service
