Job Description
Area General Manager will oversee the operations of multiple preschool nurseries across Dubai and the UAE. This role requires a results-oriented professional to drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with regulations, grow student enrollment, and strategically expand the nursery network across the region. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in achieving business goals while maintaining the highest standards of early childhood education and care.
Salary- 30,000- 35,000 AED
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations across all existing nursery centers, ensuring adherence to company policies, local regulations, and international best practices in early childhood education.
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency, staff performance, and the delivery of quality education programs.
- Implement standardized processes and procedures across all centers to maintain consistency and ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements.
Revenue Growth and Enrollment:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue by increasing student enrollment in all nurseries.
- Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to create and execute effective marketing campaigns and outreach programs to attract new families.
- Build strong relationships with parents and the wider community to promote trust, satisfaction, and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
- Analyze enrollment trends and implement targeted action plans to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities for growth.
Business Development:
- Identify opportunities for opening new nursery centers in strategic locations across the UAE to meet market demand.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies to assess potential sites and ensure successful expansion initiatives.
- Develop business cases for new centers, including budget forecasts, ROI analysis, and risk assessments.
- Lead the planning and setup of new centers, including recruitment, training, and infrastructure development.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop Center Managers and staff to ensure a high-performing and motivated workforce.
- Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the organization.
Financial Management:
- Monitor and manage budgets for all nursery centers to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Review financial reports and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize resource allocation and control operational expenses.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities, ensuring timely submission of required documentation and compliance with guidelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all external stakeholders, including parents, community organizations, and local authorities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10-15 years Proven experience in managing multiple preschool or early education centers, with a strong focus on operations and business development.
- Excellent understanding of UAE regulatory requirements and compliance standards in early childhood education.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Analytical and strategic mindset with a track record of driving revenue growth and expanding business operations.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial planning, and performance analysis.
