ARCHITECTURAL INSPECTOR

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 8 years of experience working in an engineering consultancy environment and be currently based in the UAE. The Architectural Inspector will be responsible for inspecting architectural works to ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. The role requires strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to provide support to project teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of architectural works, including finishes, facades, and other elements, to ensure compliance with approved design drawings, specifications, building codes, and standards.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and related documents to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
• Ensure that all architectural works, materials, and installations meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, non-conformances, and recommendations. Maintain accurate and organized records of all inspections, findings, and corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to project teams, contractors, and clients on architectural compliance issues and help resolve any discrepancies.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved architectural designs and quality standards, identifying and rectifying any deviations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to address and resolve any issues related to architectural installations and inspections.
• Supervise architectural works on-site to ensure that they are executed according to the project specifications and quality requirements.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Architectural Inspector in an engineering consultancy environment.
• Candidates must be immediately available and currently based in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of architectural standards, building codes, and construction practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret and review technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Relevant certifications in architectural inspection, quality control, or safety are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using relevant inspection and reporting software, as well as architectural design software like AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ability to work on-site and perform inspections in various conditions, including working at heights and in confined spaces.
