Job Description
- Develop and review lifting plans in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Select appropriate lifting equipment, rigging gear, and cranes for various operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe execution of lifting activities.
- Provide technical guidance to rigging and crane operators.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (LOLER, BS, ASME, ADNOC, Aramco, etc.).
- Coordinate with site engineers, HSE teams, and project managers.
- Perform inspections and audits of lifting equipment.
- Train and mentor teams on lifting safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Certification in LOLER, LEEA, or equivalent lifting standards.
- Experience in heavy lifting operations in oil & gas projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, lift planning software, and load calculations.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and lifting safety protocols.
