Job Description

As an Application Presales Consultant, Assets Management & Maintenance and ERP previous experience is a key advantage for the applicants.  The job holder will play a crucial role in the pre-sales and solution design process by collaborating with sales teams and prospective clients to understand their business requirements and propose tailored solutions mapped to clients’ strategic objectives, using our company's applications. Your primary responsibility is to engage in due diligence with prospects and clients to understand their business and technical challenges, map our products to their challenges as business enablement solutions.  You will assist in closing deals.


Job Responsibilities:


Client Interaction:


Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives.


Conduct thorough needs analysis and align client requirements with the capabilities of our applications.


Product Knowledge:


Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the features, functionalities, and benefits of our applications.


Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies relevant to our applications.


Solution Design:


Collaborate with the sales and product development teams to design customized solutions that meet client requirements.


Create and present compelling product demonstrations to showcase the application's capabilities and benefits.


Proposal Development:


Work closely with the sales team to develop and customize proposals, presentations, and other sales materials.


Clearly articulate the value proposition of our applications and address client concerns.


Technical Expertise:


Provide technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, addressing client inquiries on application architecture, integration capabilities, and scalability.


Collaborate with the technical support and development teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of technical aspects.


Competitive Analysis:


Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses of our applications compared to competitors.


Position our applications effectively against competing solutions in the market.


Relationship Building:


Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.


Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.


Feedback Collection:


Gather feedback from client interactions and incorporate it into product development discussions.


Provide input on market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to enhance product positioning.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Computer Science).
  • 6+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in a similar presales or consulting role, preferably in the Applications software industry.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and how technology solutions can address business challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical information into clear and understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across different departments.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and presentations as needed.
