As an Anatomic Pathologist/Histopathologist, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and management of diseases through the examination of tissues. Your expertise in histopathology will directly influence clinical decision-making and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform meticulous examinations of surgical specimens and tissue biopsies, analyzing samples for accurate diagnosis
- Compile comprehensive pathology reports that detail findings and diagnostic interpretations
- Utilize various histopathological techniques, including immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology
- Collaborate with medical teams to discuss findings and recommend appropriate treatment strategies
- Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case discussions for comprehensive patient management
- Stay updated on advancements and best practices in anatomic pathology and histopathology
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to the educational growth of the pathology department
