Analytics Senior Manager

The Analytics Senior Manager is responsible for the development and support for internally created or supported BI applications and analytical data warehouse, including business requirement gathering, developing the data model and solution architecture, and testing\troubleshooting the application. Working closely with senior management to develop and improve the BI applications. 

The job scope also includes: 

• Responsible for the understanding and documenting the business requirements
• Design the wireframe of the requested dashboards
• Conceptualize and build simple yet appealing Power BI/ Tableau dashboards with insightful details 
• Build and maintain enterprise data warehouses and business analytics platforms 
• Utilize analytics to explore data and uncover trends and insights 
• Develop ad-hoc SQL queries for real-time analysis 
• Provide technical and architectural solutions related to BI systems, tools, and databases 
• Design and implement proof of concept solutions
• Senior member of team that interacts with business engagement teams to define dashboards 
• Manage Tableau Administration servers and desktops.
• Writing the QA and UAT test cases together with QA engineer and validating it with the business users
• Providing the required training for using the application to the business users
• Troubleshooting any bug\issue in the system and identifying the appropriate fix
• Monitoring and maintain Power BI /Tableau Servers

To be considered for this role, you will need to have: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Power BI certification or learning badges (or) Tableau certification or learning badges 
• A minimum of 6 years of experience developing visualization solutions with Power BI / Tableau
• 4+ years’ experience working in a DWH environment.
• 4+ years’ experience with Tableau/ Power BI servers administration
• 4+ years’ experience of SQL development
• 4+ years’ experience of Database Design and Analysis required
• Experience developing reports in Tableau/ Power BI for desktop and mobile devices 
• Experience administrating Tableau/ Power BI servers
• Demonstrable, strong analysis skills are a must
• The ability to create and debug complex stored procedures, SQL statements, views, triggers, and functions for DataBricks, Snowflake, Azure/MS SQL Server
• An understanding of utilizing Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server\GitHub
• Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Good communication skills

It would be good to have: 

• 3+ years’ experience in Python
• 3+ years’ experience developing data models and scripting in Databricks/ Snowflake DWH
• 4+ years’ experience developing data models and scripting in MS/Azure SQL
• Experience in of administrating and performance tracking for MS/Azure SQL Server, Snowflake 
• Experience developing, maintaining, and modeling Customer profiling and MDM solutions
