About the Company


Established in 1972, ADNOC Drilling was the first fully-owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and was set up with a mission to drill wells to enable ADNOC to unlock the UAE’s vast reserves of oil and gas for the benefit of the nation. The company acquired its first rig, AD-1, in 1973, which can be seen today outside ADNOC Group's modern headquarters on  Abu Dhabi's Corniche. For almost 50 years, ADNOC Drilling has enabled the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to safely and efficiently unlock United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) oil and gas resources. ADNOC Drilling is key to delivering the targeted increase in crude oil production capacity by 25% to 5 million barrels per day by 2030 and achieve UAE gas self-sufficiency.


JOB PURPOSE:


Support investor relations (IR) efforts by collecting, analysing, and presenting relevant financial, operational, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data. Ensure accurate and timely communication between the company, its investors, and management, in alignment with corporate strategy. Additionally, manage sell-side analyst consensus to maintain accuracy and flag discrepancies against public disclosures. Support procurement processes, including supplier document management, to facilitate approvals and payment, and provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for the C-suite and Board of Directors.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Job Specific Accountabilities


  • Data Collection and Management
  • Collect and organize data on business performance and financial results by coordinating with internal departments.
  • Track and maintain data on industry developments and peer performance for benchmarking and reporting.
  • Market Analysis
  • Monitor stock price trends, trading volumes, analyst forecasts, and investor feedback.
  • Compare company performance with peers to support strategic decision-making.
  • Sell-Side Analyst Consensus Management
  • Update and maintain sell-side analyst consensus files.
  • Regularly compare analyst estimates with publicly disclosed information and flag discrepancies.
  • Data Analysis
  • Analyze financial, operational, and ESG data to prepare reports for management, investors, and analysts.
  • Support the development of internal financial and research models.
  • Interpret data for enterprise benchmarking and performance improvement.
  • Ad Hoc Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports for the C-suite and Board of Directors.
  • Summarize complex financial data to assist in executive decision-making.
  • Industry and Competitor Insights
  • Monitor competitors’ performance metrics and summarize key insights for management.
  • Shareholder Management
  • Track shareholder ownership changes and maintain updated records for investor engagement.
  • IR Calendar and Event Management
  • Maintain the IR calendar, including disclosures, earnings calls, roadshows, conferences, and other events.
  • Coordinate logistics and schedules for IR events and ensure smooth execution.
  • Reporting
  • Assist in preparing quarterly and annual reports, including Earnings Reports, ESG Reports, and Corporate Governance Reports.
  • Ensure reports are accurate, complete, and targeted to the intended audience.
  • Materials Preparation
  • Create and update presentation materials for internal and external meetings.
  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Liaise with the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange (ADX) and Securities & Commodities Authority (SCA) to stay updated on regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of regulatory filings and compliance with ADX and SCA requirements.
  • Communication and Website Management
  • Update and maintain the IR section of the corporate website.
  • Manage the IR mailbox and respond to investor queries under department supervision.
  • Supplier Document Processing
  • Process supplier documents to ensure timely approvals and payments.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues and streamline payment workflows.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills


  • 3-4 years of relevant experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Knowledge of financial valuation methods
  • Organisational skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Basic proficiency in financial databases (Bloomberg, Factset)
  • Good proficiency in English and Arabic
