JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose



Lead and plan Al Dhafra Petroleum Technology Roadmap in coordination with ADNOC and ADNOC Group Companies. Maintain the state-of-the-art technology fit for purpose of marginal field development and lean & agile organization to drive COMPANY’S future growth.

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)



• Assess Al Dhafra's Technologies Status and update/maintain Al Dhafra technology gap analysis report (HSE, Projects & Engineering, Operation, Exploration, Field Development, Drilling).
• Conduct Periodic 'Market Analysis' with SMEs, Stakeholders for below categories in line with gap analysis and create 'Market Survey Report’.

• Develop Al Dhafra's Technology Roadmap for 10 years and maintain & update Technology Roadmap yearly for Al Dhafra's 5years business plan.
• Conduct ‘Economic Analysis’ for all technologies in line with ADNOC Technology Framework coordinating with all stakeholders.
• Lead verification process on value creation after POC and Deployment of Technologies.
• Lead/manage 'POC, Deployment' Projects based on Technol

Innovation and Continuous Improvement
• Promote the development of a corporate culture that encourages innovation, enhances employee motivation, and supports initiatives for implementation of Change Management to continuously improve Unit’s operations and services.

Policies, Processes and Procedures



• Guide and ensure the development and implementation of appropriate Unit policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures and internal controls to support execution of the Company work programmes, in line with ADNOC Corporate, UAE Local & Federal laws and international standards.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability



• Contribute to the development of Company’s HSE policies and culture while overseeing compliance with all relevant HSE, sustainability and environmental policies, processes, procedures, and controls across the Unit.

Risk Management



• Participate and proactively contribute to the designing, development and establishment of Company’s integrated Risk Management Framework while identifying and assessing relevant domain risks and recommend planning, management and control measures to mitigate the identified risks within the Unit.
• Oversee compliance of Risk Management Guidelines that are relevant to the Unit and ensure that corporate business ethics and Company’s Code of Conduct are communicated to employees within the Unit.
Management Reports
• Ensure that all Unit progress reports are prepared to provide accurate and timely corporate reports and necessary information to Company Management, Board of Directors, Board Advisory Committee, and other shareholder representatives to effectively manage the business.

Minimum Qualification



Master’s Degree in Applied Science / Engineering

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills



15+ years’ experience in the oil and gas industry or technology industries
