This critical role involves analytical business A/B testing, survey design and analysis, and spearheading our office's commitment to data-driven decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain and optimize our alumni and donor databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Evaluate the performance of advancement campaigns and alumni engagement efforts to identify successful strategies. Design and execute analytical business A/B tests to optimize campaign elements and strategies. Develop surveys to gather insights from our alumni and donors. Analyze survey data to inform decision-making. Advocate for a data-driven culture within the OAAA, ensuring all decisions are based on solid data and analytics. Collaborate with team members to enhance and implement efficient systems and workflows. Create clear and insightful reports to track the efficiency of existing processes and initiatives. Utilize business intelligence skills for data validation, modeling, and the development of relevant business procedures. Identify challenges and provide innovative solutions to enhance our advancement efforts. Play a pivotal role in designing and implementing comprehensive systems and structures to support the advancement team. Ensure the advancement program effectively tracks and analyzes donor data to enhance cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts. Analyze factual information to streamline workflows, solve problems, and anticipate team needs. Provide recommendations and targeted training to improve the use of advancement systems. Liaise with various departments to align gift processing, data collection, reporting systems, and business processes with stakeholder needs.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in related field: Business, Data Analytics, or Information Systems. Strong business intelligence skills, including data analysis and system analysis. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to develop and implement efficient systems. Proficiency in data management and database software. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven experience in A/B testing, survey design, and data analysis. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Familiarity with donor tracking and stewardship practices Experience in an advancement or fundraising setting
