Job Description
We are looking for an Advanced Process Control Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 12 months
Qualification and Experience Required:
- Required knowledge and experience in Advanced Process Control (APC) for (AspenTech, Honeywell or Yokogawa
- Have Knowledge and experience with Project HSE safety standards and requirements.
Summary of Work:
- Responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of Advanced Process Control (APC) AspenTech for control systems, mainly for (Yokogawa, Honeywell, ABB, Siemens, Schneider) DCS.
- Provide a continues support for the operation and site engineers on operating and maintaining the APC.
- Provide support during the project execution, installation, and configuration of APC system.
Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite step testing for any process and well operation.
- Apply expertise in dynamic linear models (DLM) and multivariable predictive control (MPC) techniques to develop and implement advanced control strategies for production optimization.
- Implement MPC algorithms to optimize complex process in real time, considering multiple variables and constraints.
- Involved in designing and developing new control systems related to APC, also testing, maintaining, and modifying existing systems.
- Monitor and inspect the instrumentation and controls (I&C) installation activities of the Contractor with regards to progress, compliance with the Contract and applicable codes/standards, quality, safety and environmental acceptance.
- Review and approve site related I&C equipment design and engineering matters.
- Coordinate with IT/OT and Digital Oil Fields focal points on the technical requirements and standards compliance.
- Ensure safety functions are integrated into all aspects of work for all personnel.
- Review and approve the proposed APC test procedures done by the Contractor. Witness and participate in such tests and review the related test reports.
- Attend the regular (daily and weekly) Site coordination meetings with the Contractor and the monthly progress review meeting (when held on site or on Teams).
- Perform site visits and data collection activities.
- Prepare the regular Site progress reports for the I&C APC related systems as required.
- Maintain records for the part of variations by either the Contractor or company/Client including the necessary evidence.
- Review and confirm the completeness and correctness of the installation and configuration Handover Packages as prepared by the Contractor.
- Review the preliminary documentation and the commissioning O&M manuals submitted by the Contractor.
- Assist in the coordination of I&C equipment works with civil, mechanical and electrical works to avoid conflicts and minimize delays of the projects.
- Understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards, especially with project requirements.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and relevant stakeholders.
- Knowledge in project management execution, cost, and time constrained environments.
