Administration Assistant Role Description
Responsible for the ongoing supervision of approved IVA and Trust Deed
cases and ensuring for each that the IVA and Trust Deeds are progresses in a
compliant manner and that the debtor is given all the necessary support to
successfully complete their IVA and Trust Deed.
Responsibilities include managing case progression, statutory and regulatory
compliance, optimising customer service and maintaining and where
reasonable to do so increasing revenue.
Job Role
• Assisting client via telephone, email & messenger.
• Completing reviews and courtesy calls at month 1, month 6, month 9.
• Identifying potential Variations and refer to variation officer.
• Issuing Notices of Breach when necessary. Liaising with the debtor to
remedy the breach where possible or to find other options.
• Ensuring assets are realised in accordance with the Proposal.
• Liaising with debtors to ensure they meet their obligations, such as
maintaining contributions and paying in additional income earned in
accordance with the terms of the Proposal.
• Logging Proofs of Debts and reviewing proved balance for increase
above permitted amount.
• Creditor contact – ensuring creditors and debt collectors are aware of
IVA and Trust Deed.
Skillset Required
• Educated to degree level (Ideally from a Business/ Finance
background)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong telephone manner and an ability to build rapport.
• An understanding of UK Financial services and the debt industry
(Preferrable).
• Ability to manage your own workload effectively.
• Strong planning and organisation skills
• Attention to detail.
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel.
• Empathetic and able to build relationships.
