Job Description
We are looking for an efficient and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Insolvency Administration team. This role involves assisting with administrative tasks related to individual voluntary arrangements (IVAs). This role requires knowledge of strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Insolvency Case Management: Assist in the administration of personal insolvency cases, including the preparation and filing of relevant documents for IVA's.
- Client Liaison: Communicate with individuals undergoing personal insolvency to collect required financial information, explain the insolvency process, and answer client queries related to their case.
- Creditors Communication: Assist in contacting and communicating with creditors to ensure accurate reporting of outstanding debts, setting up creditor meetings, and distributing dividend payments where applicable.
- Reporting & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all personal insolvency cases, including documentation of creditor claims, payments, and case progress. Prepare regular reports for internal use and compliance purposes.
- Financial Information Collection: Gather financial details from clients to facilitate the preparation of personal insolvency documents, such as income statements, asset inventories, and liability schedules.
- Compliance Support: Ensure all personal insolvency activities and filings comply with relevant legislation, such as the Insolvency Act, and ensure proper reporting to regulatory authorities.
- Debt Repayment Plans: Assist clients in setting up repayment plans, providing the necessary paperwork and calculations for monthly repayments or lump-sum settlements, as applicable in individual insolvency scenarios.
