About Dubai Foundation for Women and Children:
The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children is the first authorized non-profit shelter and humanitarian care in the United Arab Emirates to care for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and victims of human trafficking. It was established in late 2007 in order to provide victims with immediate shelter, protection and support services, in accordance with international human rights conventions.
- To identify accredited and high quality providers of recreational activities, and vocational and educational instruction.All activities and instructions should be in line with the Foundation mission of empowerment, positive self-growth and healing.
- To conduct in-person screenings of potential instructors to assess suitable and qualified candidates.
- To coordinate client-led events and festivities.
- To coordinate regular field trips for adult and child clients.
- To develop and coordinate a comprehensive daily schedule of activities for clients of various ages and various programs; including external and internal clients.
- To conduct regular assessments of staff perceptions and feedback with regard to essential and optional activities.
- To conduct regular assessment of instructor perceptions and feedback.
- A bachelor degree or equivalent in health, sport, or fitness.
Previous experience in working with multidisciplinary teams and multicultural populations.
