Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Supervisor with Arabic language proficiency to join our finance team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. In this role, you will oversee the accounts receivable function, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations while leading a team of professionals.
- Manage and supervise the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance
- Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables
- Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports for senior management
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and accounting standards
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to team members
- Optimize accounts receivable processes and procedures for increased efficiency
- Manage relationships with key clients and handle escalated issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role
- Proficiency in Arabic (speaking, reading, and writing) and fluency in English
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in accounts receivable
- Expertise in financial software and ERP systems
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and accounting standards
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and implementing best practices
