Accounting Manager

Our client is in the fashion and retail business, based in Dubai, UAE.
 

Job Description:
 

• Supervise the work of accountants and data entry staff within the organization.
• Review the accuracy of data entries in the accounting system and prepare monthly trial balances.
• Oversee daily operations within the department to ensure accurate accounting guidance and data entry.
• Review payment requests before approval by the financial manager to ensure their correctness.
• Participate in the preparation and review of monthly VAT declarations before payment.
• Train and enhance the skills of accountants to maximize their performance.
• Resolve and address any discrepancies or issues arising from daily interactions with other departments.

Job Requirements:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 8 to 15 years of experience in a similar role.
• Any additional professional certifications are a plus.
• Ability to lead a team with precision and discipline.
• Experience working in the retail sector.
