Royal Joinery has its own dedicated Factory to assist clients on high profile projects that require international expertise and a degree of workmanship that eliminates the need to source sub-contractors and third-party furniture suppliers. Our primary focus is on carpentry and woodwork specialties across a wide variety of projects and sectors through the delivery of sophisticated qualified experts in their field and innovative techniques and equipment.

Job Title: Accountant



As an Accountant in the Joinery/Fit Out/Contracting industry, your role is essential in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations, and Standards. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining up to date and accrual financials statements and reports. Key responsibilities include:
1.Ensure day-to-day accounting of transactions and monthly book closing.
2.Produce error-free accounting reports with details on a monthly basis to Senior Accountant.
3.Ensure timely Invoicing to clients and tracking collections and payments outstanding.
4.Monthly Reconciliation of Bank / Debtors / Creditors / intercompany/GL Accounts.
5. Check bank transactions and prepare documents for bank submission.
6. Prepare journal entries and submit for approval.
7. Coordinate with other departments to obtain data to record and update books of accounts.
8. Prepare petty cash statements and update books.

Job requirements



To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

Job Title: Accountant



2-3 years UAE experience as Accountant preferably in Joinery/Fit out/Contracting industries.
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
Awareness of business processes & trends.
Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end/year-end close process.
Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.
Advanced MS Office skills including Vlookups and Pivot tables.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
Strong work ethics, professionalism, confidence, high levels of communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
