We are a dynamic company based in Dubai, seeking a highly skilled and experienced accountant to join our team. Our company operates in compliance with UAE regulations and requires a professional who can ensure accurate financial management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping for the company.
- Prepare and submit periodic financial reports.
- Manage compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements, including VAT and Corporate Income Tax (CIT).
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of VAT returns.
- Monitor and reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Prepare annual financial statements and support audit processes.
- Manage payroll processing, employee benefits, and related financial tasks.
- Stay updated with changes in UAE accounting and tax regulations and implement them as required.
- Support budget preparation and financial planning initiatives.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an accountant in the UAE.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT, and CIT regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
