Job Description

The Accountant General plays a crucial role in managing the financial health of the organization within the automotive repair and spare parts industry. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective financial management. The Accountant General will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, preparing reports, and assisting in budget preparation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
  2. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
  3. Conduct regular audits of financial transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  4. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  6. Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity.
  7. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions.
  8. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  9. Provide training and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
