The Job in a Nutshell💡

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and provide accurate financial reports.

What Will You Do❓

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Perform cash management and regular monitoring of cash flow and bank accounts balances to ensure accuracy.
• Manage invoice processing, payment verification, and forecasting payable and cash availability to support smooth financial operation.
• Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and ensure timely tax filings.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes such as bank reconciliation, prepayments, provisions, accruals, depreciation, etc.
• Review financial transactions and ensure they are properly classified, recorded in the company’s general ledger and maintain reconciliation.
• Collaborate with auditors during financial audits.
• Ensure that all accounting practices are in line with company policies and regulatory
• requirements.
• Implement best practices and actively seek out opportunities for process improvement within the team's existing processes.

What Are We Looking For❓

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification is plus but not required.
• 2-3 years of proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Netsuite is preferred)
• Knowledgeable about VAT and corporate tax in the UAE
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
