Accountant

Our client is a renowned Italian brand specializing in the manufacturing of high-quality home appliances, including espresso machines, coffee makers, and portable air conditioners.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our Dubai team. This role requires a meticulous individual who can manage our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and international financial regulations and standards.
• Manage and reconcile the company's financial transactions.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Perform internal audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
• Utilize SAP ERP software to manage and streamline accounting processes.
• Prepare financial reports and budgets and perform variance analysis.
• Support the management in financial planning and decision-making processes.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Preferred (CA) or ACCA certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP software is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and other international accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
