Job Description

  • Handle day-to-day banking operations, including deposits, withdrawals, reconciliations, and online transactions.
  • Manage warehouse inventory accounting, ensuring accurate stock records and valuations.
  • Oversee cash management, including forecasting cash flow and ensuring adequate liquidity.
  • Process and manage export-import transactions, including forex banking, LC (Letter of Credit), and trade finance.
  • Maintain and update accounting records in ERP software, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
  • Assist with VAT filing, compliance, and other tax-related activities.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Ensure adherence to UAE accounting regulations and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years in accounting, preferably in Dubai or the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, including forex transactions and trade finance.
  • Proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or any other accounting system).
  • Good understanding of inventory management and cost accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance regulations.
  • Certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is a plus.
