Job Description

The Role:


The Social Media Account Manager is responsible to create appealing content for the company’s social media presence, including maintaining social media channels updated and brand-focused, creating top-level plans and social media strategies.


Primary duties and Responsibilities


  • Manages company social media content development for channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and some other platforms 
  • Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms
  • Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation
  • Cover events
  • Works as part of a team to develop large social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • Analyzes and report audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects on a monthly basis
  • Manages social media communications
  • Uses timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analyzing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits
  • Develop top-level plans and strategies
  • Create monthly reports
    AD-Hocks Assignment/reports
  • As per the Direct Manager’s requests

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, Marketing or Equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience 
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus but not essential.
  • Prior experience in managing government social media accounts 
  • Experience in developing social media plans and strategies
