CSM Middle East became part of the Wasserman agency following an acquisition in October 2023. In the Middle East region we continue to operate as CSM for the short-term whilst we go through the necessary changes to our business licenses, and we expect to rebrand, in line with the rest of the global CSM business, in 2025.

What will you be doing
You will be joining the sponsorship account team for KSA’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) – the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia – to provide motorsport expertise and sponsorship consultancy. The role includes defining objectives and KPI’s for PIF’s electric motorsport sponsorship properties, evaluating new sponsorship opportunities, negotiating contracts, measuring rights utilization and delivering activation plans.
PIF’s sponsorship portfolio includes a wide range of properties including electric motorsport, tennis, golf and football with a focus on growing their brand equity to position themselves as a genuine investment partner by advancing fan and community initiatives within their sporting investments.
The E360 Account Manager role will lead and manage PIF’s three electric rights’ holders – Formula E, E1 (electric powerboats) and Hydrogen E (electric rally cars) of which PIF have created an overarching partnership E360.The responsibilities of the role include:
•Annual Planning – Building annual plans for sponsorship properties, focusing on key moments within the year.Also leveraging opportunities to deliver value to the client with regular touchpoints for fans, staff and partners.
•Sponsorship Activation – you will have a proven track record leading the operational delivery of activations for employees and the public to bring the client’s sponsorships to life.Have a creative flair for bringing new and exciting ideas to your activation plans.
•Property Evaluation – you will support the team with evaluating new sponsorship opportunities on a regular basis, providing industry insight and recommendations to the client.
•Sponsorship Rights Tracking – you will be experienced working with complex sponsorship agreements and understand how to track the utilization of rights and benefits.
•Evaluation & Review – you will be familiar with KPI setting and delivery against them, leading in the collation of results and creation of evaluation documents.
•Self & Team Management – you will build the respect and commitment of team members by developing a collaborative working relationship, delegating effectively and fairly.
Client / Account Management
•Development and management of own relationship with the client, and day-to-day client management
•Effective management of regular project and status meetings with clients, including sharing agendas in advance and consolidation of notes and actions
•Lead on activation delivery for allocated sponsorship properties
•Lead in the strategic planning and objective setting for allocated sponsorship properties
•Lead brainstorms research and ideas development to ensure the best possible outcomes for your sponsorship activation strategy
•Leading the guest management experience for your properties, ensuring high level VIP attendees receive accurate invitation and attendance information in a timely manor working with an online registration system
•Comfortable engaging with communications and digital marketing experts to ensure amplification of activations
•Comfortable leading project teams including colleagues, client teams, suppliers and contractors to deliver activations
•Development and management of project timelines, budgets, invoicing/cost management, PO’s
•Implementation of all aspects of the campaign touch points including; general rights delivery, talent/ambassador appearances, live activations, digital & social strategies, PR & Comms
•KPI setting and campaign evaluation
•Approvals process and management
The Skills and Experience you will need
•Regional Agency experience
•Experience working with UAE or KSA government clients is preferred
•Experience working closely with rights holders,other agencies and suppliers to deliver projects
•Ability to influence decision making processes, both within the Agency and the client organisation
•Ability to multi-task; you will be working across a number of activities with tight deadlines
•Ability to think on your feet and take appropriate actions to resolve any unforeseen issues as they arise
•Ability to enthuse and motivate others
•Presentation skills (both writing and delivery), internally and to clients / suppliers including use of Microsoft PowerPoint
•Excellent communication skills – verbal and written – and attention to detail
•Creative thinking
•Knowledge of, and passion for, both sport and music & entertainment is a bonus
