Job Description
Functional Responsibilities
For new vehicles
· Coordinate with Principal / Vehicle Sales / Inventory team and ensure accessories for new model year vehicles are ordered & available before the Vehicle launch (for 25% of initial vehicles all accessories need to be available / closely monitor vessel arrivals and coordinate with inventory to ensure availability during PDI stage)
· Prepare promotional kit for new model year vehicles and ensure it is effectively sold to increase penetration @ the point of sale of new vehicle itself (Target will be fixed based on the numbers of vehicles)
For older vehicles
· Electronic mailer for older customers with promotional offers for pre-MY vehicles to be sent on quarterly basis. Accessories sales from pre-MY will be target driven.
· Prepare promotional kit with competitive prices / fitment prices for pre MY vehicles and ensure it is effectively marketed and deals concluded.
Other
· Ensure budgeted SPNV / IBB achieved for new model vehicles. Slowly work towards region top SPNV
· Ensure Quarterly Forecast is provided to principles along with % target penetration for each pack.
· Effectively coordinate with Service reception team so that accessories brochure (1 Page) are given to each customer upon service completion.
· Effective coordination with accessories champions to be made so that champions are aware on the developments (Product knowledge & training)
· Opportunities of accessory sales through retail & garage to be explored.
· Aged accessories more than 24 months to be liquidated with special promotion / Pricing
· Plan and execute campaigns to promote accessories.
· Display of accessories and merchandise in line with principal policy / Refresh the accessories and merchandise display based on current models / current product range
· Frequent audit at locations to be done to ensure all meets CI requirements
· Non-franchise accessories
· One dress up vehicle for displaying accessories / or have virtual reality of fully dressed up vehicle.
· Initiate proposals for Formation of separate accessories department & to have separate accessories target for each branch
· Contribute in developing sales strategy and develop tactical plans to promote the business
· Provide budgetary inputs and agree on the annual sales plan, monitor performance, initiate corrective action where necessary to ensure objectives / KPIs are achieved.
· Review and monitor sales plan implementation and results achieved on a regular basis. Make changes to the strategy and approach to adapt to unexpected changes in the business environment.
· Communicate sales plan and targets to the sales team and provide them sufficient training inputs, guidance and motivation to achieve targets successfully.
· Monitor sales process (aspects such as initial customer contact and reception, clarification of need, identification of prospect, follow-up on initial contact, final closure of sale and quality of sales documentation) to ensure quality in the entire process.
· Deal with critical problems, major customer complaints or issues that may be escalated and ensure prompt action or decisions for timely resolution.
· Establish and maintain a network of business contacts and relationships within the market to increase market awareness, obtain market/competitor intelligence and customer preference information.
· Effective plan, organize and participate in Motor shows & events
· Prepare Accessory / merchandise CAPEX budget every year
