Rapsodo is a sports technology company that designs computer vision and machine learning products to help athletes maximize their performance. With offices strategically located in Singapore, Turkey, the USA, Japan, and the UK. Rapsodo is the undisputed leader in sports technology. Current partners include all 30 MLB teams, MLB, USA Baseball, Golf Digest, PGA of America, and over 1000 NCAA athletic departments.
Opened in 2018, our Turkey office operates as the R&D arm of Rapsodo. We have offices located in Bayraklı & Technopark in the Izmir Institute of Technology, recognized by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology as one of Turkey’s most successful Technoparks. Our offices incorporate UI/UX, Mobile, Cloud Technologies along with Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Data Science and Unity teams. Rapsodo is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a hands-on, driven, 3D Artist with a passion for collaborating and creating best in class assets for a range of sports themed games. By constantly focusing on the user, you will have the opportunity to define and shape our bleeding edge and accessible sports technology products, helping athletes and aspiring sports players fulfil their potential.
As a 3D Artist, you will:


  • Design and build realistic or stylized environments, landscapes, and architectural structures optimized for real-time performance in Unity.
  • Model, texture, and integrate assets such as terrain, foliage, buildings, and props while maintaining visual consistency and adhering to project specifications.
  • Develop high-quality textures and materials using PBR workflows for natural and artificial surfaces within Unity.
  • Work on lighting setups and atmosphere creation within Unity.
  • Ensure that environments are optimized for performance without sacrificing visual quality, particularly for mobile and PC.
  • Work on cross-platform development, leveraging Unity for multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, PC, and consoles.
  • Manage and store data used in the game, enabling access to databases or servers.
  • Address issues with model scaling, performance, lighting, or texture quality during the development cycle, and ensure environments meet performance benchmarks.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Animation, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in 3D modeling, texturing, and animation for games and simulations.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
  • Experience designing large-scale outdoor environments using Unity’s terrain tools, procedural generation methods, and efficient asset management techniques.
  • Proven ability to optimize outdoor scenes for real-time performance, utilizing LODs, occlusion culling, and lightmapping, while maintaining high-quality visuals through advanced shaders and lighting setups.
  • Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
  • Strong English language communication and teamwork skills.
