Program Summary
KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.
Job Summary
Performs detailed duties to maintain supply and inventory levels for deployed systems and/or products. Monitors spare part availability, repair turnaround and inventory levels. Answers inquiries regarding order status, availability, required dates, order status and the like. May be assigned to provisioning, inventory management, spares, replenishment and/or return areas. Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May mentor/run project teams within a discipline or job family. Requires depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline and working knowledge of related disciplines. Interprets internal/external customer challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services based on industry knowledge. Has specialized knowledge in DOD, Agency, and/or industry standards and engineering requirements, advises colleagues on interpretation of standards within the context of Group’s contract objectives. May advise multi-disciplinary teams or run projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Guides others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions. Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives; work is guided by broad Unit/Division/Department policies. Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to influence decisions. May have formal, but limited, supervision of team members at a department level to include verification of timecards, oversight of daily tasks/schedules, and input into performance appraisals. May be the primary customer contact for assigned area of responsibility. Typically requires a college or University Degree in Business related disciplines that focus on Supply Chain, Purchasing, and/or Logistics or the related combination of education and experience that provides knowledge and exposure to the fundamental theories, principles and concepts within the specified discipline. In some disciplines, an advanced degree may be a requirement to reach this level. Typically requires 7 to 10 years of relevant experience.
