Program Summary

Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.
Job Summary
The Furnishings Management Foreman is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and management of the Furnishings Management Office warehouse, ensuring that all processes related to inventory, logistics, and furnishing are carried out effectively. This role involves supervising employees, coordinating daily activities, and providing guidance to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards. The Furnishings Management Foreman will report directly to the Housing Manager and will ensure that all key decision-making is communicated and approved by the Housing Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage, administer, and operate FMO functions IAW AFI 32-6004.
- Supervise and lead warehouse employees, providing training, support, and performance feedback.
- Schedule and coordinate daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow and proper allocation of resources.
- Manage inventory levels, overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and furnishings.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records in the system.
- Oversee the furnishing processes for the military base, ensuring compliance with all specifications and standards.
- Coordinate the sourcing and procurement of furniture, including obtaining bids from vendors and managing purchase orders.
- Ensure all furniture is barcoded and enter into the EMH system, finalizing the tasks in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement effective logistics strategies for transporting furnishings and materials to various locations within the base.
- Manage the scheduling of deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely execution of all tasks.
- Input vehicle information for recall and follow AF Form 1800 protocols for all vehicles used by Housing and FMS.
- Ensure compliance with vehicle usage policies applicable in a foreign country.
- Monitor warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety inspections.
- Prepare end-of-month reports detailing inventory levels, operational efficiency, and employee performance.
- Analyze data to provide insights into operations and identify trends or issues needing attention.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding warehouse operations and furnishing needs.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- All significant decisions must be reported to and approved by the Housing Manager. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for collecting and signing timesheets that require the Housing Manager's final approval.
- Candidates must be fluent in English, with strong writing skills, to facilitate effective communication in daily operations and interactions.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs also Capable to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Experience in carpentry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a Turkish Citizen.
- Ability to speak, read, and understand English Level 3
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AF Forms, AFI’s, and military regulations
- Familiarity with AF Forms and military regulations is a plus.
All positions require the applicant to obtain and pass a medical physical that is certified by a doctor.
All positions require a current and favorable Turkish Security background check.
All male candidates must have completed their military service.
