Program Summary


KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.


Job Summary


Are you passionate about producing high quality work with integrity?  Are you meticulous and organized?  Come join our team where you will be a critical member with enormous responsibility to ensure that the vehicles and drivers under your responsibility are ready for issue, are dispatched on time and to the right locations, and to adapt to rapidly changing transportation requirements.  As the Dispatcher, you will collaborate with a diverse team representing KBR, the United States, and Turkey.  Your communication skills, in both English and Turkish, and ability to prioritize will ensure critical ground transportation missions in Ankara to support senior defense officials busy meeting schedules.


We are seeking someone with a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to owning their work, and exceeding expectations. You should be a person who thrives in a diverse environment and who is comfortable communicating at all levels of an organization, collaborate effectively with mechanics, team members, and other departments to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of tasks.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Schedule or dispatch drivers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations, according to customer requests, Instructions, specifications, or needs, using radios or telephones
  • Prepare daily work and run schedules
  • Validate operator qualification and training credentials prior to issuing vehicles
  • Monitor local weather and travel-way conditions to best advise operators
  • Provide mission and safety brief to operators
  • Track assigned vehicle fleet status and determine critical vehicle shortfalls
  • Maintain accountability of equipment items assigned (radios, cellular phones, vehicles, VIL keys, etc.)
  • Confer with customers or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, or requests for service or equipment
  • Relay mission tasks, messages, or information to or from drivers, using telephones or two-way radios
  • Receive or prepare trip requests
  • Record and maintain files or records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, or other dispatch information
  • Arrange for necessary repairs to restore service and schedules
  • Monitor personnel or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate service and schedules
  • Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required, according to work orders or specifications
  • Advise personnel about traffic problems, such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, or other hazards
  • Oversee all communications within specifically assigned territories
  • Capable or listening and understanding what people say
  • Listening to others, not interrupting and asking good questions
  • Ability to deescalate conflict, notice a problem and figuring out the best way to solve the issue
  • Performing all work within the scope of duty in accordance with instructions related AFI, DoD Manual and Army Instructions.
  • Collaborate effectively with mechanics, team members, and other departments to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of tasks.
  • Daily use of Microsoft Office
  • Communicate with customers and coworkers daily

Basic Qualifications


  • Turkish Citizen
  • Have a current Class B driver’s license
  • High School/University graduate
  • Able to understand, speak, read and write English level III
  • Military obligation completed

Preferred Qualifications


  • Familiar with Online Vehicle Integrated Management System (OLVIMS)
  • Prior dispatch experience – 5 or more years
