Program Summary


KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Türkiye. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.


Job Summary


We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to join our KBR Vehicle Maintenance team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our military and logistical operations are supported in accordance with applicable regulations.  Applicant will be required to perform diagnosis and repair on all vehicle electrical systems for various types of assets.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components in various vehicles, including but not limited to cars, trucks, and specialized military vehicles.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, alternators, and starter motors.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals to accurately perform repairs and upgrades.
  • Install and replace electrical components such as lights, sensors, wiring harnesses, and other electronic devices.
  • Work closely with other technicians and specialists to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors

Basic Qualifications


  • Turkish Citizenship
  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have valid driver license (minimum Class B) and driving experience.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English (level I)

 Preferred Qualifications


  • Vocational training or post-secondary education in machining or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and in a shop environment.
  • Work experience on Air force military base
  • Excellent customer communication and relation abilities.
  • Able to work under stressful conditions and be a multi-tasker.

All positions require the applicant to obtain and pass a medical physical that is certified by a doctor, including orthopedic confirmation for driving.


All positions require a current and favorable Turkish Security background check.


All male candidates must have completed their military service.
