The position
As Treasury Manager, you will be part of a high paced energetic finance team with specific responsibility for driving treasury tasks across the Business Areas, affiliate as well as the Region Emerging Markets. You will be reporting to the BAMECA Senior Director Finance & Operations. The role provides a broad functional exposure. The core disciplines will be FP&A and Treasury, but the role will drive strategic finance projects and will as such have significant exposure to the full value chain. You will develop your network and ability to work with many different stakeholders across multiple geographies and functions in BAMECA and BAAF, Region and HQ.

The responsibilities in the role will be spanning across both Finance and Treasury. 

• Financial planning and analytics across BAMECA markets
• Monthly/Quarterly reporting support, and AB/RE budget responsibilities; Year End closing process; Strategic Finance projects, such as e.g. distributor profitability analysis, digital finance upskilling, 
• Treasury Partnering to affiliate: Supporting financial management, and decision making

Treasury tasks across BAMECA and BAAF markets:

• Point of contact for BAMECA and BAAF affiliates, incl. managing relationships with core banks and affiliate counterparts
• Drive Treasury projects end-to-end including engaging with local, regional and HQ stakeholders – includingFX exposure reduction initiatives, entity conversions, funding reviews and mitigating actions to avoid trapped cash in high risk countries.
• Manage and support on treasury related reporting and campaigns across Business Areas and REM – collections, trade receivables, Provision balance process, etc. 

The position offers a very broad functional exposure. The core disciplines will be FP&A and Treasury, but the role also entails significant exposure across the value chain. The learning curve will be steep. Broad geographical focus and engagement with senior finance stakeholders across multiple geographies and functions in Business Areas, REM and HQ. You will develop your network and ability to work with many different stakeholders. Possibility to continuously take on more complex tasks and responsibilities as you progress in your professional development. 

Qualifications
You hold a bachelor’s degree, Business Administration/Economics/Finance is preferred, or preferably a master’s degree in a relevant field, with 3-5 years of related experience in the pharma industry or 5 years of related experience in non-pharma industry. You should have excellent command over both written and spoken English. 

• You have solid finance and treasury skills from professional experience and educational background. 
• Your stakeholder management skills are strong and you have good intercultural skills to engage with different cultures as well as different areas and functions of Novo Nordisk.
• You have good persuasion skills and an ability to find pragmatic solutions with stakeholders.
• You have Projects management skills and the ability to solve tasks “through others” to successfully drive projects and solve issues across business area.
• You possess a high drive and can do mindset while at the same time being pragmatic and keeping the bigger goals of Novo Nordisk in mind.

Finance & Operations department is responsible for Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting & Tax, Treasury, Pricing and Access. We focus on identifying business opportunities, ensuring alignment between strategy and financial resource allocation, maintaining continuous information flow about the business, process excellence, and high compliance levels. We at F&O  are business partners who work closely with affiliates creating a real and active partnership with the line of business and management. Our role is to provide proactively and 'real-time' support and analysis and to be a trusted adviser to senior management in strategic decision-making.
