Lesaffre, which is a global reference in the yeast industry with its more than 170 years of accumulated knowledge, has been transmitting its international experience to Turkish bakery industry since 1992.

We unite the Lesaffre experience with our wide-spectrum user population by means of our over 600 employees and our production facilities, including our production facility in Lüleburgaz, which we have incorporated into our structure in 2015, in addition to our production facilities in Ceyhan and in Amasya, which have been in use since 1992, the year we started operating in Turkey.

In addition to yeast, we also provide baking solutions like bread improvers, bread mixes, and blends to bakery sector. We are looking for a new teammate to work with us at our Lesaffre Turkey Ceyhan factory!



Job Description
  • Carry out the investments, all technical materials and services and spare parts procurement processes that the factory will need at the Ceyhan location from start to finish
  • Conduct supplier and product research for approved purchase requests, collecting price quotations and then opening purchase orders and forwarding them to suppliers
  • Manage contract processes with selected suppliers
  • Take an active role in the processes of the conformity of incoming materials and the comparison of invoice, quality, quantity and coordination with warehouse acceptance, quality control and accounting departments, and to improve the processes
  • Manage all processes from the receipt of the purchase request to the receipt of the product and the processing of the invoice in the system
  • Develop a procurement calendar for its own category, monitoring the duration of contracts, opening tenders for timely purchases
  • Focus on expanding the supplier portfolio
  • Conduct cost reduction studies, coordinating and initiating targeted cost reduction activities
  • Contribute to the regular execution of systems related to all functions within the scope of the task, the design of new systems and the development of existing systems
  • Capex reporting

Qualifications
  • Graduated from engineering departments of universities
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Technical Purchasing
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Able to use Microsoft Office programs actively
  • Preferably knowledgeable about SAP MM module (Ariba experience is preferred)
  • Strong human relations
  • Prone to teamwork
  • Solution-oriented approach
