As a Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Planning Management, you will be the single point of contact for supply chain in the market responsible for leading the S&OP process and coordination of supply chain activities to achieve optimal demand/inventory/operations management for the Benelux, Nordics, Poland and Turkish region while you are based in Istanbul. In this role, a typical day will include:


  • Liaise between commercial teams and supply chain, providing expertise on all supply chain-related topics.


  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve supply constraints and drive supply chain initiatives.


  • Drive accurate and timely submission of complete forecasts to Global counterparts.


  • Collaborate with franchise counterparts to align demand forecasts with market activities and sales trends.


  • Support new product launches through demand forecasting and coordination with other supply chain functions.


  • Assist in identifying, training, and supporting country representatives for an effective and sustainable S&OP process.


  • Collaborate with the Global S&OP team to ensure financial and customer requirements are met.


  • Manage demand based on available supply to mitigate backorder and excess inventory risks.


  • Partner with marketing teams on product portfolio management, including launches and promotions.


  • Provide visibility on supply and operational initiatives, liaising with global S&OP for updates.


  • Foster best practice sharing within the region and support cross-country initiatives.


  • Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to optimize them while maintaining the desired service level


WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.


  • Minimum of 7 years of supply chain experience, with expertise in S&OP and demand forecasting.


  • Proficiency in multiple supply chain areas is a plus.


  • Problem solving, analytical skills and able to work with ambiguity


  • Team player but as well able to work independently

  • Knowledge of Excel and SAP- IDP


  • Fluent English (written and spoken) any other European languages are highly valuable.
