About the role

The SOP manager will report to the Supply Chain and Logistics and will be responsible for the management of the end-to-end Order flow and the Order Desk team. 


Main Responsibilities 


  • Manage the SOP Executives against their role, objectives and Dyson behaviors 
  • Recruit, train, support and coach the Order Desk team 
  • Manage the 3PL to ensure performance for order dispatch is within contract 
  • Identify process changes for improving the Order Desk function, optimizing cost and increasing productivity. Ensure Continuous Improvement mentality is championed and implemented  
  • Ensure EDI orders are processed or orders created manually.  Releasing orders for delivery in line with any allocations provided.  Securing booking slots and arrange deliveries on time. Being the POC for Key Account team, 3PL and retailers on all order book issues 
  • Manage sample order request and ensure that process is followed according the Dyson Procedures 
  • Ensure retail customer credit management, pricing management, and management of related disputes/charges is carried out in a timely manner 
  • Ensure the processing of eCommerce orders in SAP, ensuring order correctness and completeness for delivery creation where not covered by the contact center 
  • Manage any direct order queries, where not covered by the Contact Centre.  POC for Contact Centre on direct delivery queries.  Investigation and feedback on last mile failures 
  • Lead direct and indirect reverse order management.  Guaranteeing returned orders are completed on time, customers are refunded, stock is reconciled, and error/fraud in exchanges are fixed 
  • Manage owner claims/complaints and ensure the solutions are provided in line with Dyson standards  
  • Relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role. 
About you
  • You have a great understanding of Logistic Processes and tools 
  • You have a good knowledge of 3PL, Logistic and transportation Systems
  • High organization skills and time management 
  • You master Microsoft Office 
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP 
  • You are a leader and you have excellent problem solving skills
